Well, hello 2009! It's a new day, a new year and that means a new comping log (TIP: I always keep a record of my competition entries. That way, I can usually match any prize with a particular competition - or at least narrow it down to a couple of options. It also helps me to detect any potential scams because after all, I can't have won something if I never entered the competition in the first place! Another benefit of keeping a log is that it helps to remind me of potential comping sites that I might otherwise have forgotten about).
The beginning of the month is often a good time for comping as many websites launch new competitions at the start of a month. Today, it's a bit on the quiet side but it is a bank holiday and I'm sure there will be a few sore heads out there from seeing in 2009. My entries today are all "old faithfuls". Looking forward to seeing what else will turn up during the rest of the month.
