Why is it that the postman always seems to try to deliver parcels when you're out? I got home today at 12.20 to find a card pushed through the letterbox and just 10 minutes to get to the sorting office before it closed. Fortunately, I phoned ahead and a very cooperative and friendly postal worker assured me that as long as I left straight away, there would be somebody there to give me the parcel - and there was! It was my outstanding DVD player with a nice letter apologising for the delay. All in all, I was quite pleased!
